What is the reason for oil leakage of air compressor?

What is the reason for oil leakage of air compressor? Symptoms: 1. There is oil overflow at the air filter and exhaust port. 2. Excessive oil overflows when the air reservoir (wet) is drained. Fault cause: 1. Inhalation is blocked or intake filtration is poor. 2. The return oil is blocked. 3. The cylinder liner, piston and piston ring of the air compressor are worn, or the oil ring is installed reversely or stuck, and the lubricating oil is flowing up. 4. The air compressor is not completely cooled. 5. Dirt is not often discharged from the air tank. 6. The air compressor runs for too long.

 7. The pressure in the engine crankcase is too high. 8. The engine oil pressure is too high. 9. The lubricating oil deteriorates. 10. The air compressor is defective. Troubleshooting: 1. Check the air compressor filter. If there is any damage, defect or dirty air filter element, replace the damaged parts in time; Check whether the air inlet pipe of the air compressor is kinked or deformed, and ensure that the air inlet pipe has the minimum required inner ring diameter (more than 15.9 mm is recommended).

2. Check the oil return pipe for excessive bending, kinks and obstacles. The recommended minimum inner diameter of the return pipe is (12 mm). The oil return pipe must always drop from the air compressor to the engine crankcase. 3. Check and measure the wear, damage and assembly of the cylinder liner and piston ring of the air compressor, and replace the seriously worn ones. 4. Check the engine lubricating pressure (at the oil inlet of the air compressor) and compare it with the rated pressure. 5. Replace the qualified lubricating oil. 6. The air compressor can only be replaced or repaired if all the above reasons are confirmed to be non-existent. Hannos sincerely serves you!
